The problems have affected its performance to an extent of announcing it would close down one hundred and thirty- three stores in Canada which are not even two years in place. The study will focus on the three critical challenges that have led to the proposition of the closure of the stores. This research takes place at a period during which Target Corporation is worried that its shares might go down (Jayson, 2014). The corporation entrance into the Canadian market has failed leading it to announce the closing down of all the Canadian outlets. The announcement that was made in less than two yea rs after the inauguration of the stores can be a major contributing factor to lower the prices of the shares as the investors will question its ability to succeed in international markets. (Jayson, 2014) Aims This study aims to understand the perspective of the customers and employees of the corporation concerning the concerning the stock shortages experienced in the corporation target shelves frequently. The study also, aims to develop theories to understand how supply chain management affects the smooth running of the corporation. The study also aims to establish the effects of globalization about the poor performance of the Canadian stores. It also seeks to provide ways that the Target Corporation should invent to arrest the declining investors trust. To achieve this aims, the study will consider the extent to which these challenges has affected the performance of the Target Corporation so as to come up with the appropriate questions. For example, instead of saying that those who served during WW2 came from diverse backgrounds, Brokaw writes, They left their ranches in Sully County, South Dakota, their jobs on the main street of Americus, Georgia, they gave up their place on the assembly lines in Detroit and in the ranks of Wall Street, they quit school or went from cap and gown directly into uniform. 2. Use numbers to emphasize magnitude. Brokaw wrote â€Å"the 442 Regimental Combat Unit would become the most heavily decorated single combat unit of its size in US Army History.† He also added â€Å"8 Presidential Distinguished Unit Citations and 18,143 individual decorations including one Medal of Honor, 52 Distinguished Service Crosses, 560 Silver Stars and 28 Oak Leaf Clusters in lieu of a second Silver Star, 4,000 Bronze Stars and 1,200 Oak leaf Clusters representing a second Bronze Star, and at least 9,486 Purple Hearts.
